Afrocoastal Art & Design was never meant to follow trends.

It was born from memory, saltwater, and the pull of something older than this moment.

Founded by multidisciplinary artist Danisha Edwards Ellis, A.C.A.R.I. is an artist-led fine art and design house that bridges artistic expression and functional design through storytelling.

Moving freely between original paintings, sculpture, printmaking, collectible objects, jewelry, and pieces created for everyday living, each creation is guided by curiosity, craftsmanship, and imagination.

Rooted in the relationship between material, memory, and human experience, A.C.A.R.I. explores the stories that connect us. Some works preserve memories, others explore emotion, identity, beauty, or the unexpected.
